My Story

I fell in love with the skies two years ago in Anza Borrego, on a night when the five visible planets lined up with a full moon, and traveled across the night sky like a slow train.  Within a month I had traveled to Tucson, and found Starizona, a business that manufactures and sells telescopes and associated equipment.  The owner, Dean Koenig, took me in and got me started with imaging the night skies.  Two years later, I feel that I have made great strides in processing the images.

Processing.  I typically take 100 exposures of a target, and the exposures can range from seconds to minutes.  The concept is that the photons that are reaching my cameras began their travels millions of light years away.  In some of these images the light particles that are making these images were originated when dinosaurs walked the earth.  The concept boggles the my mind, and hopefully yours.

Enjoy seeing the treasures of our night skies.  Prints will be available in the future...
